It’s been a while but today we are going to compare the Tecno Camon 17 pro vs the Infinix note 10 Pro. Both phones share almost the same similarities as well as differences. They were both released in May 2021 and today we are going to give you a detailed breakdown of both phones. The Camon 17 Pro is tagged as the clearest selfie phone by Tecno because it has a 48MP front-facing camera. On the other hand, the note 10 pro by infinix supports spen and it is one of the most affordable devices out there that utilize such a tool.
The Camon series by Tecno is their camera-centric series and they showcase their best camera specs with the release of every Camon device. with the note, infinix tend to make it a powerful productivity device that always comes with a powerful chipset and spen support. But surprisingly the last release which Is the Note 8 Pro lacked spen support.
Here we are going to touch on every aspect including design and performance just like we did with the Redmi Note 10 vs Samsung Galaxy A32. In terms of price, the Tecno Camon 17 comes in at 125,000 or USD 302 while the infinix note 10 Pro costs 120,000 or USD 290.
Make sure you read every aspect of this comparison because it is going to help you decide when making a purchase decision. Like I said earlier, we will categorize everything for you to help see which is the best. The Tecno Camon 17 pro vs Infinix Note 10 Pro might share similarities, but there are still slight differences. Are you ready to explore both devices with me? Let’s get started.
Tecno Camon 17 Pro vs Infinix Note 10 Pro – Which Should You Buy?
Design Aspect
When it comes to design both phones share similar build quality. They are both made of plastic and glass at the front but the respective brands didn’t specify the type of protection they are using against accidental falls. Both phones have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and they are conveniently placed for quick reach. We have a punch-hole camera cutout on both devices and they are both using a USB type C charging point. Every other port and button in the phone are placed in the same way, making these phones more of the same thing.
The camera sensor at the back of the Infinix note 10 pro is a little bit wider than that of the Camon 17 Pro. They both have a quad camera and we will talk more about the camera later. If there was a color award then the Nordic secret color of the Note 10 Pro would be a winner because depending on how light hits it that’s how it will shine. We have black and purple as the other colorways for the Note 10 Pro by Infinix.
In case you are interested in buying the Infinix Note 10 Pro please buy the Nordic Secret. The color options for the Camon 17 Pro include California silver and Malibu blue. In this aspect we can’t really separate the phones they share the same characteristics with little difference. Now let’s talk about the display.
Display Aspect Comparison Tecno Camon 17 Pro vs Infinix
It’s even much more difficult to separate these phones in this aspect now the only difference is that the Infinix Note 10 Pro has a 6.95-inch display while the Camon 17 pro comes with a 6.8-inch display.
They both have a resolution of 1080 x 2460 with an average pixel density of 400. We have a 90Hz refresh rate on both phones but it came as a surprise to me because the cheap Spark7p came with a 90Hz refresh rate too I expected 120Hz on both phones.
The devices are both using an IPS LCD panel which is decent enough and you should see comfortably under bright light if you crank up the brightness of the phone. Both bezels are reasonably small with an 84 percent screen-to-body ratio on both phones. They are both responsive and fast and scrolling won’t be an issue. You can also watch full HD plus content on YouTube and Netflix.
You will get vivid and sharp colors from the display. In this aspect, we can say it’s a draw none of the displays is suitable for one-handed usage because they are both big.
Software and Performance
Tecno camon 17 Pro vs Infinix Note 10 Pro Software
Software is very important because it is the other half of the story and with Tecno, we have HiOs while Infinix has XOs. Now both phones run on android 11 which is nice and cool but the version of android that both brands created does not sit well with me that is the XOS and HiOS.
Both brands have worked hard in redefining their interface over the years but I still want them to make it a little bit cleaner. They come with preinstalled apps and that can be a serious problem to some people although for me it’s fine because I know my way around both skins. I will link a video that will be resourceful here.
Another thing I would like to see again Is at least one year of software update from both brands. Once you get either of the devices you will only get security updates minus software updates. The software on both phones looks similar with only minor differences.
Performance
Nothing separates both phones in this aspect they are both phones because they are both powered by the MediaTek Helio G95. The chipset is as capable as the Snapdragon 732G found in the Redmi note 10 Pro. It will handle gaming just fine without any hassles. The performance will be okay no matter how you use the phone.
They both have the Mali-G76 MC4 as their GPU and an octa-core CPU we really can’t use anything to separate them here because they are both powerful.
Camera Aspect Comparison
Both phones come with a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP monochrome lens. With the rear camera, you can shoot 4K videos at 60 frames per second. Talking about, the front-facing cameras the Tecno Camon 17 pro has a 48MP camera while the infinix comes with a 16MP selfie shooter.
The Camon series focus more on pictures and that is why it has a bigger selfie camera. Both cameras will do a decent job with image processing especially if you have bright lights when taking pictures. The Camon 17 Pro will stand out because of its larger selfie camera most people these days tend to prefer selfie pictures.
Battery Aspect
Both phones have a 5000mAh battery and the Tecno Camon 17 pro comes with a 25W fast charger inside the box. The infinix on the other hand has a 33W fast charger bundled inside its box.
Both devices will last the whole day on a single charge no matter how you use them. the fast charger inside the box of the Note 10 Pro makes it the champion in this aspect.
Conclusion Tecno Camon 17 Pro vs Infinix Note 10 Pro
When it comes to buying these phones, you might simply decide to go with the brand you prefer between the two.
If you want better selfie pictures then the Camon 17 Pro will be what you need but that doesn’t mean the selfie camera on the Note 10 Pro by Infinix is not superb.
Battery and performance are on the same level for both phones but the faster-charging ability on the Infinix Note 10 Pro might be enough reason for someone.
Hope you enjoyed reading this one and drop the names of the phones you want us to compare next in the comments.
