The iPhone 15s will arrive in the autumn: test production of the new series of iPhones now seems to have started.
Apple has been facing many iPhone 14 production issues mainly affected by COVID in China. Resolving these problems, Apple had to deal with a new problem. Some iPhone 14 Pro Max models have experienced a strange display problem. In particular, some units received by users in December 2022 show one or more horizontal lines when the device wakes up after a simple stand-by.
At first, users who noticed the problem immediately thought of a hardware defect and not a software bug. In truth, Apple has assured that the problem, recognized, will be solved with the next update. It is not yet clear if users will have to wait for iOS 16.3 or if an intermediate update will arrive soon. What is certain is that, somehow, the matter will be resolved.
On the web, especially through Reddit, many have talked about the problem by photographing the display of their iPhone 14 Pro Max which shows horizontal lines.

It cannot be excluded that the bug was induced by a faulty driver that needs to be updated. In all likelihood, with the next update, all afflicted iPhone 14 Pro Max will no longer have any defects.
In short, all those who may have encountered the problem will only have to wait for an update of their new iPhone.
