iPhone 15: The First Production Test Has Begun

The iPhone 15 series will arrive in the autumn and, as usual, Apple is in the midst of the first production tests.

The iPhone 15 series will replace the current iPhone 14 and 14 Plus as well as the 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max. As usual, Apple should present these new devices during the autumn of this year.

For the Cupertino-based company, this means arriving ready with the final production chain by the summer in order to meet market demands in the launch phase.

Right now, it appears that the iPhone 15 series products are in test production at the Foxconn factory in Shenzhen. These are pre-production models that will be subject to final tests by Apple before the company extends the production of these devices to other factories.

During 2022, Apple had to face some assembly problems due to the continuous lockdowns that followed in China due to COVID. It seems that the production difficulties of the entire iPhone 14 series are now over, but apparently Apple will try to differentiate the manufacture of the subsequent models in such a way as to avoid the problems that it found itself facing especially during the second half of last year.

To avoid these inconveniences, Apple appears to be outsourcing the assembly of the iPhone to companies other than Foxconn and the other manufacturers that have so far worked on the manufacture of the iPhone. Over the months, the picture on this point will certainly become clearer. Besides China, one of the biggest countries where the iPhone will assemble will be India.

The iPhone 15 series could bring important news from the point of view of the exclusive features of the Pro models. In truth, something like this has already happened with the iPhone 14. The Pro models are new in everything, even in the technical data sheet. The non-Pro ones mount the iPhone 13 Pro processor on board, a different rear photographic module than that of the older brothers, and a display not only different in refresh rate, but also in appearance.
