Refurbished phones are something that has become quite popular in the past few years. More and more people are buying refurbished phones because of all the advantages. Here today we will be talking about why I decided to buy a Refurbished Samsung A series phone and what my entire experience was.
What does refurbished mean?
Refurbished phones are those phones which have been used by someone in the past and then brought back to the seller where it goes through quality tests and all faulty parts are changed. The battery is then replaced and the phone is brought back to its original potential and then sold with a reseller warranty. Most of the refurbished phones feel like brand-new phones.
Why did I decide to buy a refurbished phone?
Since I am a student and I always run on a budget and it was impossible for me to purchase a brand new A-series phone. All the new A-series phones from Samsung are really good but quite expensive. One of my friends suggested that I go for a refurbished phone and it was very good advice.
When I started to look for refurbished phones online I read a lot of reviews from people who are using these phones and every one of them was positive. Since the refurbished Samsung A series phone fit right in my budget, I decided not to waste any more time and start looking for phones both online and offline.
My reason for choosing a refurbished Samsung A series phone
The main reason I decided to go for a refurbished Samsung A series phone from Phonebot was because of the price. I was able to purchase the refurbished Samsung A series phone at almost 60 percent of the value of the new phone and I ended up receiving an almost new phone. The phone I bought merely had scratches and it looked like a brand new phone to me.
I started looking for phones online and once I was able to find a reputable retailer like them, I contacted them and they were very nice to inform me of all the steps they took to refurbish the phone. They told me that they have checked all the hardware, restored the phone, and changed the battery. They also explained to me about the 6-month warranty they provide on refurbished phones and how they will take care of the phone if I face any issue. The warranty is what attracted me to the phone and I ended up purchasing it.
My experience after using a refurbished Samsung A series phone for 6 months
It has been more than 6 months since I have bought the refurbished Samsung A series phone and I have never faced any issue with it till now. The battery backup of the phone is really good and the phone has never lagged even when I am playing games on it. I have used the phone quite a lot to edit photos on heavy software and have never faced any issue with it.
For me, affording an A-series phone was never possible because of the high price markup. Getting a refurbished phone was surely a great choice since I was able to fulfill my dream of owning a premium flagship phone from Samsung. I have not revealed to my friends that I purchased a refurbished phone and none of them were able to figure that out to this day. Buying refurbished phones was one of the best decisions I took as a college student who is always on a budget.
How much did the refurbished phone cost?
Refurbished phones come at different price points and models of the phone you will be purchasing. Since I went for a Samsung A series phone which was one-year-old I ended up getting a price of about 60 percent of the original phone price. If you think of buying an Apple refurbished phone then the price might go a little up. Refurbished phones which are always on demand are generally priced higher. I was able to get an extra discount from Phonebot because they had some good deals going on. Make sure to check the inventory of the resellers before deciding which phone to get.
If you ask for my advice you should always go for refurbished phones because you can get all premium smartphones at a much lower cost. Always make sure to check the warranty provided by the resellers because that will surely help you stay calm even if something goes wrong. Now you will also be able to enjoy your dream smartphone without having to spend a huge amount of money. Refurbished phones are perfect for students or people who are on a budget and don’t want to spend a lot on their smartphones.
