The phones on the Galaxy A series line 2019 are have a plastic build at the back. The quality comes in question here in terms of the build I expected more from Samsung.
The plastic back of the A10, and A20 gets scratched easily, it is slippery and can easily fall. From my experience with the A20 its really slippery and does not come with any type of back casing. while using the phone my hands got sweaty and the device was slippery. Samsung did not make provision for a silicon case to protect the devices from scratches.
The devices are not very durable given the plastic back and can easily be broken if it falls.
The Samsung Galaxy A series 2019 features the AMOLED Infinity-U display and a big screen.
The line of Samsung Galaxy A series 2019 phones are built with 6.2-inch, 6.4-inch, and 6.7-inch full-sized screens but there is a small cut-off on the Screen which produces a notch that houses the front camera
The galaxy A80 features an all-screen without the drop notch the rear camera flips forward for selfies.
The brightness of the screen is a pure class on its own. As we all know Samsung screens are the best in the market. The screen on the Galaxy series are a great choice with great viewing angles and many more.
Battery and Performance
The battery improvement this year is a major factor that has helped the Samsung Galaxy A series of smartphones standout.
On the galaxy A20, you are guaranteed 11hrs on-screen time on heavy usage. In terms of performance, the lower-end Galaxy A series of phones like the A50 down to the A10 use the Samsung Exynos chips which are not fast but it still handles tasks smoothly.
Even games like PubG runs smoothly on the Samsung Galaxy A20 on low graphics mode.
However, from the A60 up to the A80 the all use the Qualcomm Snapdragon. This makes
Them more expensive but the added pay means faster performance and better user experience. The Samsung one UI works alongside the android 9 pie on the devices.
A high-quality camera is another major key that has made the A series 2019 a real deal. The ultrawide and zoom capability of the Galaxy A series 2019 is very okay.
Only the Galaxy A10 houses a single 13MP camera. The higher you pay the higher the camera quality. The A80 has a triple rear camera that flips forward.
Samsung did a pretty job especially giving high expectations from users in terms of camera. Good looking images are guaranteed on every phone in the A-series line.
It is 2019 and you can buy a Samsung Galaxy device for less than N40,000.
The features of the Samsung Galaxy A10 is a real deal priced at just N38,000 on Jumia. Samsung Galaxy A10s cost about N44,500.
The Samsung Galaxy A20 goes for N50,000 on Jumia and it’s my daily driver for the past months.
Other devices in the galaxy A series line go for less than a hundred thousand which include the A30 and the A50. N64,000 and N90,000 Respectively.
The A70 and A80 are flagship killers which will cost you a higher price of about N120,000 and N200,000 respectively. Galaxy A50s, Galaxy A30s Galaxy A70s Cost about N90,000, N82,000 and N150,000
The price tag on these smartphones is a major game-changer for Samsung Galaxy A series.
The Galaxy A series 2019 has been a success because they are affordable, the big screen they come with, bigger battery and quick charge and moreover the price range.
The major competition at the mid-range market this year has been between the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 and some of the phones on the A series Line.
As a result of the success of the Galaxy, A series 2019 Samsung is already making plans to launch the Samsung Galaxy A10s expected to come with a dual-camera and also the Galaxy A90 with a bigger Qualcomm Snapdragon processor another Galaxy A20 variant has been released.
