Huawei will soon announce the new Mate X3, a foldable with top-level features. It could also integrate a satellite antenna.
Huawei was among the first companies to announce a foldable smartphone. Since then, many proposals have arrived on the market such as, for example, the current Flip 4, the Fold 4, and the RAZR 2022.
With the announcement of the new P60 series from Huawei, the company should present the successor of the current models, the Mate X3. It will be a very performing product, excellent in terms of productivity.

Right now, some top-of-the-line smartphones offer the ability to communicate via satellite. Smartphones with this feature use satellite connectivity mainly for emergency communications. Among these, for example, are the iPhone 14 Pro.
According to what has been leaked, it seems that the next Huawei Mate X3 will be able not only to launch emergency communications but also to exchange text and voice messages in reception.
Huawei’s Mate 50 already offers satellite connectivity, it only allows sending text messages and not receiving them.
Beyond these possibilities, the device will be a true top-of-the-range, complete with a 5G modem. Here are the alleged expected technical characteristics:
