The main feature of this app is that any picture, video, or text message that is sent to anyone through this app only lasts for a short period of time before becoming inaccessible by default.
Snapchat is an application that operates on the internet and can be integrated with other social media apps too. This social media app has millions of followers around the world. Being a subscriber of Spectrum mobile plans, I have never had any disruptions while using this application. I often use Snapchat to capture elegant pictures and post them on my Instagram account too.

If you are bored of using the same preloaded Snapchat stickers and emojis, get in touch with your creative streak. You can make your very own customized stickers on Snapchat. Take a picture or make your video with Snapchat. Then, use the scissors button and color the part you want to convert into a sticker. The stickers automatically get saved in the app. You can access these stickers under the ‘stickers’ button.
Develop Customized Geofilters
You can discover and create your own geofilters anytime you like. You can create time-sensitive geofilters as well. Custom geofilters can be created for any special events such as parties, weddings, birthdays, holidays, etc.

You can create a geofilter in many ways. If you know how to use Photoshop or Illustrator, you can go to Snapchat’s dedicated on-demand Geofilter website to upload your design. Otherwise, you can simply use Snapchat’s own geofilter templates to create a customized filter for $5 and above. Your designs need to be approved by the Snapchat team and that may cost more money.
Create Snapcodes Using An Website
Snapcodes have more than one function now. Previously they were simply used to add friends. Now, you can create Snapcodes from just about any website and share them online for other users to scan. You can also print Snapcodes on flyers etc.
Follow these simple steps to create a Snapcode,
- Go to app settings
- Look for Snapcodes
- Find ‘create Snapcodes’
- Enter your desired URL
- Tap on ‘Create’
You can also spiff your code with a picture that you like. Simply tap on the code itself to do this.

Send Money to People
Yes, you can actually send and receive money through Snapchat. The feature called Snapcash allows you to send and receive money any time you want. To use this cool feature,
- Go to app settings
- Tap on Snapcash
- Add the credentials of a Debit Card
Simply, type in the amount you want to send to a friend in a message and confirm the transaction.
Group Messaging
Whether you send group messages or private messages to a single user, it works the same way. To begin a group chat, start a chat in the usual way and simply add more friends and then, name the group. You can add up to 16 people in a group. Messages in the group last for 24 hours and if you leave the group at any time, all your messages disappear instantly.
Add Moving Emoji Stickers
If you find static stickers and emojis very dull and unappealing, you can make them move and have some fun. Just capture a video as you usually do and add a sticker or emoji you like. However, instead of just adding it on the screen, press and hold it down. Then, you can pin it to a certain part of the video that is moving.

Link Bitmoji With Snapchat
If you have a Bitmoji account, you will have a lot of fun while using the Bitmojis in Snapchat. It is very easy and super funny. To use Bitmojis in Snapchat,
- Go to Settings in the app
- Find and open Bitmoji
- Link your preexisting Bitmoji account or create one
You are good to go. The next time you want to use Bitmojis in Snapchat, you can simply find your Bitmoji sticker in the ‘stickers’ icon.
