The Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ is making waves as the world’s thinnest 3D-covered smartphone, and it’s not just a marketing gimmick. The Hot 60 Pro+ is a smartphone that packs in some advanced and latest features in the current world of smartphones. And in this review, I will be sharing my honest thoughts about the device. I will be direct and detailed while also comparing it with the Hot 60 Pro, which is also a great choice for you.
Sitting at the top of the Infinix Hot 60 series, the Pro+ offers an ultra-slim design, JBL-tuned audio, impressive battery life, and AI-powered features that blur the line between mid-range and flagship.
But how does it compare to its sibling, the Infinix Hot 60 Pro? After spending two weeks with both devices, this review covers everything you need to know to decide which one offers the best value for your money.
What’s Inside the Box?
Whether you buy the Hot 60 Pro or the Hot 60 Pro+, the unboxing experience is largely the same. Here’s what you get:
- The phone
- 45W fast charging adapter
- Protective case
- Screen protector (Pro+ only)
- Earpiece
- SIM ejector tool
- User manuals and documents
Design & Build

The moment you come in contact with the Infinix Hot 60 Pro+, you immediately feel the difference compared to the bulky phones we carry nowadays. It has a very slim profile, and honestly, words can’t do justice to how slim it is. The only thing I can say is: it’s slimmer than a pencil. Imagine how thin a regular pencil is. The Hot 60 Pro+ is even slimmer than that.
It feels weightless in the hand compared to many regular smartphones, and I see myself keeping this phone for a long time just because of how it feels. We have an ultrathin fiberglass back and an aerospace-grade aluminium frame. Despite how thin it is, durability isn’t a problem. I even tried bending it, and I was surprised by how well it held up.
The Hot 60 Pro, on the other hand, is just a bit thicker by one millimeter. The Pro+ features an IP65 water and dust resistance rating, whereas the Hot 60 Pro boasts an IP64 rating. In hand, the Pro feels more traditional with its flat profile, something some people prefer.
Both phones have the One Tap AI Button. On the Hot 60 Pro, it’s a dedicated button. On the Pro+, it doubles as the unlock key. They both have dual speakers. The SIM card slot is on the left side for the Hot 60 Pro, while on the Pro+, it’s located at the bottom. Overall, both have solid build quality, but the Hot 60 Pro+ feels more premium.
Display

The major difference in the display is the curved screen on the Hot 60 Pro+ versus the flat screen on the Hot 60 Pro. That could be the main decider for many users because, otherwise, both displays are nearly identical.
They both come with a 1.5K AMOLED display and a resolution that’s on par with some flagship phones and unmatched in their price category. You also get a 144Hz refresh rate, which makes everything super smooth. In the settings, you can select apps or games to stay locked at 144Hz.

Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protects both displays and can hit up to 4500 nits peak brightness. Content consumption and gaming are enjoyable on both because of their large size and clarity. The curved screen on the Pro+ is not aggressively curved just ever so slightly. Both phones have under-display fingerprint scanners, and the symmetrical bezels make the display feel even more premium. Some phones that cost over $500 still have chunkier bezels.
UltraLink App (NFC)
A new app called UltraLink (It is popularly called NFC) comes preinstalled on both phones. Think of it as a walkie-talkie feature. It allows free calls and texts between Infinix phones. It’s exclusive to Infinix devices and doesn’t work with other Android phones.
It only works when the phones are close to each other within a 50-meter radius and depends on WiFi and Bluetooth. It’s one of those features you don’t know you need until you’re in an emergency. Note: the app must stay running in the background to receive calls.
Performance

Both phones are powered by the MediaTek Helio G200, which is a slight upgrade over the Helio G100 from last year’s Hot 50 Pro+. It’s paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
Day-to-day usage is smooth. Apps open fast. I played Call of Duty Mobile on medium settings, and it maintained 120Hz throughout. I also tested Genshin Impact, and the game was playable. There’s also a new cooling technology from Infinix that keeps the phone cool during long gaming sessions, and the gyroscope improves accuracy in games.
Overall, performance is identical on both phones.
Software & Features
Both phones run on Android 15 with XOS 15, and the software is well-optimized, especially on the Pro+. Animations are fluid, multitasking features like split screen and pop-up windows work flawlessly, and the 8GB of RAM keeps background apps running smoothly.
There is still some bloatware pre-installed, but you can remove most of it. You also get a feature called Second Space (multiple user accounts), a dedicated game mode, NFC, and lots of customization options to personalize the phone.
XOS keeps getting better, and I like the direction Infinix is heading with their software.
AI Features

Both phones come with plenty of AI-powered tools. My favorites are found in the Gallery, things like AI Image Eraser, AI Extender, and AI Sharpness Plus. You also get Circle to Search, and the Folax AI Assistant, now powered by DeepSeek R1.
Just head to Settings > Infinix AI to explore them all. Keep in mind, you’ll need a good internet connection for many of these AI tools to work smoothly.
Camera

When it comes to photography, both the Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ and Hot 60 Pro share the same hardware setup: a 50MP primary rear camera paired with an auxiliary lens, and a 13MP front-facing selfie camera. This means the core image quality you get from both phones is almost identical, but the experience is still impressive for a mid-range device.
In good lighting conditions, images come out sharp, well-detailed, and with accurate colors that lean slightly towards a vibrant, punchy look. Dynamic range is well-handled, meaning bright skies and shaded areas can coexist in a single shot without losing too much detail.
One standout feature is the ability to toggle full 50MP mode in the camera settings. This unlocks the full resolution of the sensor, capturing finer details in textures, landscapes, and close-up shots.
While the difference might not always be obvious on social media, zooming in on the images reveals a noticeable improvement in clarity, especially if you plan to crop or print photos. For everyday casual photography, the default mode still does a great job, but it’s nice to have that extra resolution on demand.
Low-light performance is where Infinix’s AI processing and Night Mode come into play. With Night Mode enabled, the camera captures multiple frames and blends them to reduce noise, improve sharpness, and brighten up darker scenes.
Colors remain surprisingly well-balanced in low light, avoiding the overly warm or unrealistic tones that budget phones sometimes produce. Both models also benefit from AI scene detection, which automatically adjusts settings depending on whether you’re shooting city lights, portraits, or close-ups in dim environments.
Selfies are handled by the 13MP front camera, which produces crisp, natural-looking shots in daylight. Infinix has added a front-facing flash, which is especially helpful for night selfies or indoor shots where lighting isn’t ideal.
The beauty mode is available but can be toned down or turned off if you prefer a more natural skin texture. Edge detection in portrait mode is decent, with smooth background blur that works well for both solo and group shots.
The major difference between the Hot 60 Pro and the Hot 60 Pro+ in-terms of the camera is the lens on the Hot 60 Pro+. The Hot 60 Pro+ uses the Sony IMX882 lens as the main Camera lens. The combination of this awesome lens with the AI RAW algorithm from Infinix help the smartphone to delive a spectacular image with 100% detailing and helps the device to capture Night pictures with Vivid colors and clearer Details.
When it comes to video recording, both phones max out at 2K resolution at 30fps on both the front and rear cameras. Footage looks sharp with good color reproduction, and stabilization is reasonable for handheld shots, though not on par with higher-end flagships. Audio capture is clear, making these phones perfectly capable for casual vlogging or social media content.
Overall, whether you’re taking photos or videos, the Hot 60 Pro and Pro+ deliver nearly identical results so your choice between them will come down to design preferences, not camera performance.
Battery Life
Both phones come with a 5160mAh battery and support 45W fast charging, with a charger included in the box.
You can expect:
- Up to 7 hours of screen-on time for heavy use
- Up to 2 days for casual users
It takes just over an hour to go from 0 to 100%. You also get bypass charging (to reduce heat during gaming) and reverse charging to power up other phones or accessories. Battery life is excellent on both models.
Conclusion
After spending two weeks with both the Infinix Hot 60 Pro and the Hot 60 Pro+, it’s clear that Infinix is pushing the boundaries of what a mid-range phone can offer.
The Hot 60 Pro+ stands out with its ultra-slim premium design, curved AMOLED display, slightly better durability, and a more refined feel overall. It delivers a flagship-like experience at a budget price.
However, when it comes to performance, camera, battery life, software, and AI features, both phones are nearly identical. The Hot 60 Pro still delivers impressive value, especially for users who prefer a flat display or want to save some money.
If style, comfort, and premium feel matter to you, go for the Hot 60 Pro+. But if you’re focused on function and price, the Hot 60 Pro is more than enough. Either way, you’re getting one of the most feature-packed smartphones in its category.
