Going around we found ourselves in the midst of Infinix Note 5 Pro, as it implies Pro, it is the higher version of the Infinix Note 5 device from Infinix Mobile.
I’ll be sharing my personal thoughts about this device with you, and be telling you guy’s what you should know about the Note 5 pro.
Design & Display
Most of the time I do say that beauty is what that attract people to what you do, it just like that on smartphones!!! If a device doesn’t have a nice design it might not attract YOU (AS a user).
At the top of the device, we have nothing, at the bottom, we have the speaker, earphone port, stylus pen house, charging port and the microphone.
And on the sides, we have the volume rockers and power button on the right side and sim and SD-card house on the left-hand side.
—Note There is no dedicated slot for the SD-Card—
Infinix Note 5 Pro has a 6.0 1080 X 2160 full HD IPS LCD display having a 403 PPI with and 18:9 aspect ratio view.
At the top of the screen, we have a 16 MP front camera with flash and the Notification LED with the front speaker.
At the back, you’ll be seeing a 16 MP (f1.8) camera with dual flash and a fingerprint sensor.
You can’t really talk much on the fact that the device has a slight thickness to me I believe that’s the because of the Stylus Pen it houses.
Infinix Mobile has done well with the camera on their devices, I can tell because of the great pictures I took/ my experience with my Infinix Hot 4 Pro.
Infinix Note 5 Pro has a better camera if you compare to Note 4 Pro which was released last year, and that is normal because the company is improving the more.
On the Infinix Note 5 Pro Stylus we have a 16 MP main camera and a 16 MP low light front facing camera.
Having Android One on a device add some great taste to the device, on the Note 5 Pro we have Google lens.
Google lens help you search the internet the images your device capture. Imaging snapping a school gate with Google lens you can search and get information about the school.
Performance and Storage
The first turn of for me personally while checking out the Note 5 pro is that it has no dedicated slot for SD-Card.
Though we have a 64GB internal storage and we can still use our SD-Card only if we don’t want to use a dual sim.
This device is powered by a MediaTek Helio P23 Octa-core Processor just like on the Tecno Camon X Pro, which clocks 2.0 GHz.
With that been said, the speed you will be getting on the Note 5 pro-Will definitely be seamless because it also has a 4 GB RAM.
Infinix Note 5 Pro runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Android One). Having Android One is one of the sweetest things about this device. Why?
- Optimized Battery Life
- More Secured apps
- Google Lens
- Solid and Stable Version of android
- Android OS updates for two years.
- Approved hardware based on performance tests.
People around me know my Slogan “A smartphone with no battery life is not a good smartphone” and Infinix did a great job here also.
A huge 4000 mAh Li-ion non-removable battery is what powers your Infinix Note 5 Pro and the charger helps with fast charging.
Infinix has never disappointed when it comes to battery life and I am happy to let you know that this device can go on a 2-Day journey with no charging.
Pros and cons of Infinix Note 5 Pro.
- Great Battery Life
- Fast Charging
- More Android Updates for the next two years because of Android One
- Great Screen size and type of screen display
- No dedicated slot for SD-Card
- No Face ID feature!!!
