To make this Innovation work, Google partnered with some companies, Fiber providers and network operators, system integrators, and infrastructure companies.
Google is partnering with 21st Century Technologies and Backbone Connectivity Network to bring the Wi-Fi for all to cities in Nigeria, which Google had planned to have at least 5 cities at 200 locations with the free Wifi.
This innovation started in Lagos, Nigeria at well-populated locations like malls, airports, schools and more…
At the Moment, In Lagos, Google Station’s free Wi-Fi hotspots are available at the Landmark Event Centre, The Palms Mall, Ikeja Mall, and Murtala Muhammed Airport (MMA2) Domestic Airport Terminal.

Now Adding the Federal Capital Territory(FCT), Google Station’s free wifi is available at Wuse Market Rd, Wuse, Enab Plaza and Banex Plaza Abuja Nigeria.
The Location for the Google Station in Abuja was launched in December 2018. Google is really helping and I personally can’t wait to have that Free, Fast and reliable in my area.
