Some rumors speak of the possibility that Xiaomi can bring a real cameraphone to Barcelona on the occasion of MWC 2023.
Xiaomi announced in December 2022 the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro models only for the Chinese market. The launch of these devices in other Countries will take place over the next few weeks, but there are already rumors of interesting news arriving by the end of February.
MWC 2023 in Barcelona will start on February 27 and end on March 2. During the event or just before February 27, it seems that Xiaomi may launch an unreleased smartphone. It should be Xiaomi 13 Ultra or 13S Ultra. The name of the device still seems uncertain, but what seems certain is the fact that this device will be a real camera phone.
The device should have a camera system built in collaboration with Leica, probably mounting a 1-inch photo sensor. This will allow you to capture excellent photos in all lighting conditions.
On board, we will certainly find the latest Qualcomm processor or the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The display will certainly be a very generously sized QHD + unit. At this moment, it is difficult to hypothesize the other characteristics of the technical sheet.
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be the successor to the 12S Ultra, which never arrived in Europe. The company had already promised in the summer that this hypothetical device would also arrive on the Europe market. If the rumors should therefore be confirmed, this device will certainly be on sale in Europe.
It has been clear for some time that the top-of-the-range game has moved to photographic sensors. As for the Android landscape, companies are trying to forge partnerships with various leading brands in the photographic sector. Often these partnerships determine the success of a smartphone. Not only that: they generate a particular appeal in consumers who are faced with the need to buy a new device. 2023 could reserve important news in this respect.
