The Next Mac Pro M2 Will Be Powerful

The first Mac Pro with an Apple Silicon processor is expected to have a processor four times more powerful than that of future MacBook Pros.

In each season of 2022, Apple introduced new products. After the latest iPad Pro and iPad 10, the focus is all on the future MacBook and Mac Pro. Also, recall that Apple has almost completed the transition from Intel chips to Apple Silicon proprietary ones.

Among the next products of the Bitten Apple, there would be the first Mac Pro with an Apple Silicon processor. According to a well-known journalist, the future Apple desktop computer should have a processor capable of offering four times the performance of the next MacBook Pro that should have the M2 chip on board. Specifically, the Mac Pro chip could be called M2 Ultra and M2 Extreme.

According to the source, configurations should start with 24 cores for the chip, 76 cores for the graphics card, and 192 GB of internal memory. While the more powerful version could offer 48 cores and 152 cores with 256GB of internal memory. Hence, the new Mac Pro will spell the end of Intel Xeon processors.

However, the presentation is not expected before 2023. In the meantime, however, other products are expected. In the coming months, perhaps weeks, the 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pros are expected to debut the M2 Pro and M2 Max chips, while the next-generation Mac Mini is expected to adopt the M2 chip that has already made its debut on board.

In short, much news awaits us from Apple between now and the next few months, and then resume the update cycle for iPads and iPhones.
