I’m really excited to talk about one of Nvidia’s new product. if you don’t know, Nvidia released a new GeForce RTX 3000 series during their September live event. The New RTX’s series includes:
- GeForce RTX 3070.
- RTX 3080.
- RTX 3090.
The RTX 3070 is the low-mid ranger of the new series card, RTX 3080 supports 4K at higher framerate, and RTX 3090 supports 8K gaming. Looking at the RTX from the box, it has a very sleek design on the front while the side, and the bottom listing the PC requirements.
THE NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080
The New GeForce RTX 30 series is the second generation of RTX. The RTX 30 series brings the biggest ever generational leap. It performs two times the performance of last generation’s GeForce RTX 2080. It’s powered by the all-new NVIDIA ”Ampere architecture’’. This new architecture features:
- 2nd generation ray-tracing cores for a huge boost in ray tracing performance.
- 3rd generation tensor cores to do AI processing for features like DLSS and NVIDIA Broadcast.
The GeForce RTX 3080 also has new streaming multi-processors and 10 Gigabytes of the world’s fastest graphics memory, GDDR6X (a huge boost in performance for all types of games with and without ray tracing).
Immediately, you Unbox the RTX 3080, is a two-slot card that is 11.2 inches long and the design is unlike anything that you’ve seen before. The new design provides the best thermal performance with a revolutionary new Dual Axial Air-flow through which is three times quieter and it keeps the GPU up to 20 Celsius cooler than the previous generation RTX 2080.
Here, How the Dual Axial Air-flow through works….
The front fan pushes hot air out of the extra-large bracket vents, and the individually shaped fins help direct the airflow for better cooling. The backside fans draw air through the card and out the top and rear chassis exhaust. This is possible because the PCB is shorter, which lets air flow through. A new 12-pin power connector helps to facilitate the power with less space, further enabling better airflow through the fins.

NB: you don’t need a new power supply with a 12-pin cable, included in the Founders Edition is an adapter that converts two standard 8-pin power cables to the 12-pin connector.
