It’s official: Google will present its Pixel 7 and 7 Pro on October 6th. The Mountain View company has formalized the presentation date of the new series of top-of-the-range smartphones that we had already glimpsed thanks to images and videos from the company. At the presentation event, however, there will not only be the new smartphones but also the long-awaited Google Pixel Watch that is the smartwatch from Google ready to land in the mobile world and compete with the various Apple Watch or Samsung Galaxy Watch.

As mentioned, Google has already shown its upcoming smartphones and has done so for months by presenting them during its annual Google conference, that is the conference in which all the developers participate. Here he had shown how the two smartphones arriving on 6 October would have been aesthetically with a non-radical change in design but with an important refinement especially in the “bar” part of the cameras.
Last year, the Mountain View company launched Google Tensor, the first mobile system-on-chip (SoC) custom designed to create a common platform for Pixel phones. The first devices made with Tensor, Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, are the best-selling Pixels to date. From this success we have seen how the company has decided to offer today the new Pixel 6a , which has the same Tensor processor and the same Titan M2 chip for security. Not only because the new Pixel Buds Pro have also been added to the catalog, designed to seamlessly integrate with the Google Pixel and feature a new custom 6-core audio chip that runs Google-developed algorithms, all optimized by the in-house audio engineering team.
This year, however, Google intends to arrive immediately in Italy too and for this reason it has decided to anticipate the times and has published on its Italian store the page used for information on the new Google Pixel 7 and 7 Pro that the Mountain View company has already unveiled in preview during the Google Conference. On the devices clearly not much is known at the level of technical specifications but in fact at an aesthetic level they have been completely revealed and reproduce what is the design of the current Pixel 6 and 6 Pro but with changes in terms of materials and more.
We already know that they will have the next version of Google Tensor, the processor created by Samsung for Google, and will be built for those who want the latest technology and the fastest performance, Google said. As mentioned at an aesthetic level they will not change much by proposing themselves with a similar design where to make the rear band of the cameras practically always present but this time covered with aluminum and no longer with glass. For the rest, unfortunately, we do not know any other details but Google has promised to reveal other details in the future.
And as mentioned there will also be the new Google Pixel Watch: the first smartwatch built inside and outside of Google. It has a bold circular domed design, a tactile crown, recycled steel and customizable straps that can be easily attached to the case. With this watch, the user can also and above all get the new Wear operating system from Google with all the Fitbit tools for health and fitness, directly on their wrist. Google Pixel Watch is conceived as a natural extension of the Pixel family, providing assistance when and where the user needs it.
