The wireless headphone is dependable regardless of the music you are listening to. It looks like its predecessor, the Bose Quiet Comfort 35II. The fit is exceptional, and Bose used a high-quality foam inside the headband and earpads.

You can wear them comfortably for hours, and there won’t be any ear fatigue. The headphone features touch controls instead of the physical button on other headphones. Depending on the number of taps, you can toggle between track navigation, voice assistant, call management, and quiet or awareness mode. It has advanced features like multi-point pairing, DSEE extreme upscaling, and conversational awareness. The headphone has autoplay and pause, and it is easily the best headphone of 2022. The headphone has a superb build quality, but they are heavy. It affects usage, mainly if you use it for some hours. The Airpods Max comes with a protective case, but it doesn’t protect the headphone.

Suppose you love music while traveling because it has 21-hour battery life. The headphone also has an adaptive EQ that can tweak the audio. Vocals and instrumental is well separated, and you get every detail from the music. It comes with a mesh as the headband, and the earcups are well padded. The headphone has a digital crown that acts as the volume know and button. If you have an iPhone, this headphone is probably the best option for you; coming in at $479 price also varies depending on the color you want.

4. Anker Soundcore Life Q30 – Best Wireless Headphones for Music on a Budget

One of my favorite headphones because of its price and features. I used this for a long time, and I call it a mini home theater in my ear. It comes in below $100, and it is one of the best wireless headphones for music. The headphone has a fantastic noise cancellation with three different noise isolation levels. It has a companion app that makes usability easy, and you can adjust the EQ and customize your listening experience. The headphone can last for 44 hours, which I have recommended to people who don’t want to spend much on a pair of wireless headphones.

The headphone has a combination of plastic and metal, and there is high-quality memory foam in the headband and earcup. These make it comfortable to wear over a long period. The only problem I faced was that the earcup had a leather finish on the outside, and my ears got sweaty after some time. However, it is lightweight and doesn’t clamp too much on the head. There are buttons on the mic that can control volume, music, noise cancellation, and voice assistant. In addition, you can activate transparency mode by placing your palm on the touch-sensitive area of the earpad.

This is one of the most affordable headphones on this list as far as price goes. It is also portable, and the carry case it comes with ensures complete protection.

5. Sennheiser Momentum 3

The Sennheiser Momentum 3 has a fantastic look and features industry-standard noise cancellation. In terms of sound quality, it matches some of the highest-end headphones on this list. The earcups are large, and they made a simplistic headband to make the headphone comfortable during usage. The headband distributes weight accordingly, while the earpad has a very soft padding.

Some buttons are used to control volume and music playback. You can also maintain the active noise cancellation level and transparency mode. When you fold the headphone, they automatically turn off, and the moment it is unfolded, it comes back on. Although it comes with a case that protects it to some extent, it can also be folded, making it easier to move around.

The headphone has a decent bass but triumphs more in treble and midrange sound profiles. Nonetheless, it delivers when listening to music regardless of the genre.

6. Samsung AKG N700NC

The Samsung AKG N700NC is one of the first AKG and Samsung headphones in the market, and it is out to compete against Bose and Sony headphones. It has a USD 350 price, and it has a fantastic sound quality. The headphone is comfortable to use for a long time, but it is not as comfortable as the other premium headphones. It comes with a plastic build all around, but the hinge is metal.

The headband has enough same padding thing that applies to the earcups. It also has some touch controls that can control volume, music playback, and voice assistant. The headphones come with a custom AKG app that works on IOS and Android phones. The app can be used to customize the equalizer. You can also assign a dedicated button to activate the aware ambient mode, otherwise known as transparency mode.

Noise cancellation is excellent, but it is behind the Bose Quiet comfort and Sony WH-1000XM4. Battery life is decent, and you can get up to 24 hours of battery life from a single charge. Pairing is instant the moment you turn on the headphone.

7. Sony WH-XB910N

The Sony WH-XB910N has a fantastic build quality, and it delivers in terms of audio quality. It is one of the best wireless headphones for music. The headphone has a remarkable battery life that can last for 39 hours, even listening to music for that long. It is not the same level as the Sony WH-1000XM4, but it has a decent noise cancelation with low rumbles and plane engines.

The headphone has a minimalistic design, but it’s plasticky nonetheless; it comes with a great case that protects it and will also fit inside any backpack. It has faux leather padding on the headband and earcup and works in the head but will fall off if you move your head aggressively. The headphone has a combination of touch and physical controls, which is excellent. It also comes with an app compatible with both IOS and android. The headphone was made for those who want a Sony headphone but can’t afford the WH-1000XM4.

8. Audio Technica ATH – SR50BT

The Audio Technica ATH – SR50BT was released in 2019, but the headphone was ahead of their time. It supports SBC, AAC, and aptX audio codecs, and it lasts for up to 45 hours, depending on how you use it. The sad thing is that it takes forever to charge the headphones. It has a flexible and sturdy headband that is foldable. It also has a soft leather padding that clamps to the head.

You can adjust the headband depending on the size of your head. The earcups have a leather pad that is big enough to cover it also has some touch controls that can be used to control volume, audio playback, and noise reduction. It connects to Bluetooth the moment it comes on, and it can play continuously 30 meters away from your phone.

It has an excellent soundstage and great bass. As a result, it is suitable for listening to any music. Instrumentals and chords are well balanced, and you can hear vocals.

9. Anker Soundcore Life Q35

The Soundcore life q35 is an upgrade from the Soundcore life q30 that we listed above. It comes with some subtle upgrades and a price increase. They have the same look and feel but support the LDAC codec missing on the Q30. If you listen to high-quality audio, the new codec will be a great addition. Surprisingly, the ANC on the Q30 is better than the Q35 but listening to music is simply amazing. It also supports the Soundcore app that is compatible with IOS and Android.

It has 44 hours of battery life, but it depends on your usage. The carry case is also precisely like what we have with the Q30, and it’s durable. It protects the headphone from scratching. The headband has padding that makes it comfortable to wear for long hours. The same thing applies to the earcups. It has some touch controls, and it is the same as the Soundcore Q30.

In terms of audio, it has a decent bass that thumps and a very lovely mid-accuracy. Treble is noticeable, and it serves well in this aspect. Although the upgrade is not what we hoped for, it is still one of the best wireless headphones for listening to music.

10. Edifier W820NB

The Edifier W820NB is the second headphone on this list to feature active noise cancellation and a starting price below $100. You can even get it cheaper on AliExpress. The W820NB has a battery life of 49 hours, depending on your usage, which is excellent for ANC headphones. It also takes one and a half hours to charge the headphone fully. The headphone has a matte plastic finish with the headband made of high-quality foam. You can rotate the earcup at 90 degrees and rest on your neck. The earcup also has plush memory foam for comfort and sealing to provide sound leakage.

The sound quality is fantastic; you get that punchy bass if that is what you are after. Audio quality also stays the same regardless of the ANC mode. An app can be used to monitor battery level, switch between ANC modes, and turn on/off game mode; left to me, there is the need for customizing the sound profile, but the app is lacking in that aspect. It also has a power button as well as volume buttons
