The smartphone is targeted at the overly saturated midrange market the reasons I will share with you here are some of my opinions on why the phone will stand out. This device is an upgrade from the Oppo A9 2020 read along as I share my reasons why the Oppo A92 is the right choice for you.
Top 5 Reasons Why the Oppo A92 is the Right Choice for You
Design
Aesthetics play an important role before we decide why we should buy a phone. So, in this aspect, Oppo did a nice job with the color options available they include the aurora purple, shining white, and twilight black.
All the color options have this gradient feel that I like my favorite color option is the Aurora Purple. The power button also doubles as the fingerprint sensor this is much more convenient for me than the fingerprint sensor. We have a shiny plastic at the back and upfront we have a flat display with curved edges. We have quad rear cameras and a flash at the back.
The volume rockers and sim port are located on the left-hand side of the device. We have a USB Type-C port and oh yes, the headphone jack and a loudspeaker placed at the bottom. The phone weighs 195 grams but the size makes it comfy in the hand.
Performance and Software
The device is powered by the Snapdragon 665 and it comes with 8GB RAM And 128GB Storage. It will handle tasks superbly and gaming will also be quite fluid. There is an 8GB RAM on the device so performance would Be solid on this phone.
Moving ahead the device runs on Android 10 and we have the Color OS 7.1 is the skin slapped on top. The Color OS is one of the best UI on android there is face unlock which is fast and reliable as well as a fingerprint sensor located on the right-hand side of the device that is also fast.
Camera
The Versatility of the cameras on this device is one of the reasons why you should consider buying it. We have 5 cameras in total that include the main 48 MP main sensor, 8 MP Ultrawide sensor, 2 MP macro lens, and a 2 MP depth sensor.
Upfront we have a 16 MP selfie shooter. You would get good images from the rear camera especially in good lighting conditions. The Oppo new night mode has offered improved night photography while in dark places and noise are less if you switch to the night mode.
Display
The Oppo A92 comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display. The display is also an IPS LCD with a 1080p resolution. The colors are vibrant and viewing angles are okay. Under the sunlight, we get enough brightness even though its an IPS LCD display. There is a punch-hole cut out on the left and it won’t distract you during media consumption or gaming.
Battery Life
No matter how good a smartphone can be, having a bad battery life is a dead-end for the device. But not in the case of Oppo A92, one of the best Oppo A92 features is the battery life.
The battery capacity on the A92 is capped at 5000mAh which means the device is equipped for long term usage and thanks to battery optimization on Android 10 the battery will last longer and the amazing part is the device supports 18W fast charging.
Those are the great features on the Oppo A92 smartphone – the device has packed a lot of great features even some which are not listed here on this top 5 features of Oppo A92.
Conclusion
The Oppo A92 is a mid-range challenger and it is surely a phone to try out. A lot of Nigerians haven’t tried Oppo but I can assure you that if you purchase any Oppo device even if its an entry-level phone.
The User experience is awesome if you compare it to other brands that are available in Nigeria.
