OPPO Confirms Some Details About The Upcoming Reno9 Series

A few days after the launch, OPPO confirmed some details on the Reno9 series, especially regarding the photographic sector.

OPPO Reno 8 successors are expected to debut in China on November 24th. A few days after the launch, the Chinese company began to confirm some technical details which – together with the many rumors – allowed us to understand how the new models of the OPPO Reno9 series will be made.

The marketing material shown on Weibo, the Chinese social network, confirms the presence of a 32MP front camera with an autofocus system. While, for the rear, there will be a 50 MP primary sensor capable of pulling out clear photos even in low light conditions. In addition, it will integrate an optical image stabilization system, which will prove especially useful during video recording.

To improve photographic performance, OPPO has also decided to integrate the MariSilicon chip on the Reno9 series as done on the top-of-the-range Find X5 Pro model. However, the previously leaked images revealed that only the Reno9 Pro+ will have a triple camera system , while Reno 9 and Reno 9 Pro should stop at just two rear cameras.

So the confirmed details should refer to the Reno9 Pro + model.

Indeed, Oppo Reno 9 is expected to have a 64 megapixel main camera and a 2 megapixel secondary lens. The Reno 9 Pro is expected to feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. While the Reno 9 Pro Plus is likely to feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 with OIS, accompanied by an 8-megapixel telephoto lens and a third 2-megapixel camera.

As for the processor, the rumors speak of the presence of the Snapdragon 778G Plus chip on the base model , while the Reno 9 Pro should be based on the Dimension 8100-Max . The Pro Plus model will be the most powerful and could even sport the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 , the same as the Xiaomi 12T Pro.
