Instagram announces the release of the function to schedule posts and Reels with a tool inside the app, without having to use external tools.
Instagram is a social network widely used by content creators, influencers, and even companies. Among the many functions made available to professionals, there was a lack that has always been felt most of all which is content programming. Or rather, at the time it was possible to program the contents (photos, videos, Reel) to be published on your accounts, but only by resorting to external tools that allow you to do so. There was no tool inside the app itself. With an official post, Instagram announced that it is implementing the function to schedule posts and reels, a bit like it already happens on Facebook for company pages.
How To Schedule Posts And Reels On Instagram
Scheduling an Instagram post in advance is very simple. Just follow the classic steps for publishing a post. In the screen where the caption and all other information are entered, click on ” Advanced settings ” where the item ” Schedule this post ” will then appear. By clicking on it, a screen will appear where you can choose the date and time of publication.
Post, carousel, and Reel can be scheduled up to 75 days in advance. The function is being released and will be officially available over the next few weeks, but an app update will be enough to take advantage of it. The advice, therefore, is to constantly check for updates and update immediately when available. It will be available for both Android and iPhone smartphones, but only for Business accounts.
How To Find Scheduled Posts On Instagram
To view or manage the scheduled contents, from your profile you need to open the menu at the top right by clicking on the three horizontal lines and clicking on “Scheduled contents”. Here the scheduled contents will be shown and clicking on the three dots at the top left will open another menu that will allow you to edit the post, reprogram it, share it immediately, or delete it completely.
