Microsoft would be working on a gaming Surface Laptop with an Intel CPU, Nvidia GPU, 16-inch 165 Hertz display, and up to 2 TB of SSD.
During the autumn, the Microsoft event is expected in which the Redmond giant should announce the successors of the Surface Pro 8 and also the new Surface Laptop 5. Apparently, the American giant is working on another completely new device that would bring Microsoft into the gaming market. We are talking about a Surface Laptop intended for gamers, on which technical information has emerged.
The new laptop model should only integrate Intel processors and Nvidia GPUs, unlike last year’s Surface Laptop 4 and the future Surface Pro 9, expected with both Intel and AMD chips. As for the versions, we are talking about Intel Core i7-12800H and Core i5-12500H processors paired with an 8 GB Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti GPU and a 4 GB Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti GPU.
This gaming Surface Laptop would come in a single version with a 16-inch display featuring a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels and a refresh rate of 165 Hertz. This is a very important element in gaming.
However, the memory cuts would be different. The RAM could be 16 or 32 GB of the LPPDR4x type while the removable SSD memory would start from 256 GB up to a maximum cut of 2 Terabytes.
Finally, as regards autonomy, there are rumors of a duration of between 15 and 16 hours of use.
Considering the gaming soul, the laptop could also offer a month’s subscription to Game Pass Ultimate. On the other hand, the presence of Windows 11 on board is discounted. The only missing information is the sale price, which could be high. However, at the moment we are only talking about unofficial information. We will know more during the next Microsoft event when we find out if this model really exists and will arrive on the market.
